For:
All users, Premium users
Updated:
Aug 26, 2026

Connect the extension

  1. Open Quick Capture and select Sign in with Lexchange or Continue with Google.
  2. If needed, select Create account to open Lexchange registration.
  3. Review the connection page. It identifies the signed-in user, workspace, and permissions requested by the extension.
  4. Select Connect extension.

If Lexchange says the installation is not approved, the installed extension ID does not match an approved ID for that deployment.

Capture a billable

  1. Choose the workspace, client, matter, and description code.
  2. Enter the description and date.
  3. Run the timer or edit the displayed HH:MM:SS value.
  4. If entering Hours, use decimal hours. For example, 0.20 is 12 minutes and 1.50 is 1 hour 30 minutes.
